Erene Burk

Studio Owner/Instructor

Erene is the studio owner, and teaches ballet, jazz, and tap, from beginning levels to advanced. She continues to take Master classes whenever time allows. Her goal is to provide the best personal training for her students, in the art forms that her studio offers, and to provide a dance environment that strives for excellence.

Erene started dancing at the age of 8, and has owned and directed her private studios since 1985. She began her dance training in Sweden, where she trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Character, Spanish Dance, Creative Movement and Modern. She toured Sweden with other dancers and a Live Brass Band. She has taken Master classes from Dans Hogskolan Stockholm, Dansforum Gothenburg, Fransouis Jourbet Arizona and from Janet Muse Gray Utah. She directed a group of dancers to perform at the Dance Festival for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Amy Vidmar

Ballet Director/Instructor

Amy is in charge of the entire ballet program and teaches classes from pre-ballet/tap all the way through advanced ballet/pointe.

Amy started dancing at the age of 6.
She is a Weber State Alumni where she graduated in English and also studied Injury Prevention and the health benefits of dance.

Emily Mitchell

Instructor

Emily teaches ballet, tap, hip hop, and break dance. She has been teaching at the studio since 2012.

Emily started dancing at the age of 3 and has continued ever since developing a love of all different styles.  She graduated from Excel in ballet but has also studied hip hop, break dance, tap, and contemporary dance.

Annette Holman

Office Manager

Annette is the office manager at the studio and has been working at Excel since 2012.  She works the front desk and is always cheerful and happy to help and answer any questions you might have.

Annette has watched her children and now her grandchildren find joy in dance at Excel and loves to help others find this same joy!

Trisha Wasuita

Instructor

Trisha is one of our ballet instructors and teaches classes from pre-ballet/tap to advanced.

Trisha is a former dancer in ballet and danced on pointe.  She has a lot of experience with children and teaching, and loves to teach.

AnnMaree Montogomery

Costume Coordinator

AnnMaree is in charge of the costumes, including finding and ordering recital costumes that fit with our theme, making costumes we need, and doing any alterations.

While AnnMaree did not set out to be a seamstress, she found a true talent in finding just the right costumes and making them perfect for our recitals!

Taylor Shimanek

Marketing Director

Taylor is in charge of marketing at the studio and also helps at the front desk, and is the first contact for the new students.  She also helps in classrooms with special needs students.

Taylor graduated with a B.S. from The University of New Mexico.  She has worked with children in pre-schools and special needs classrooms.

Olivia Jorgensen

Instructor

Olivia is one of our tumbling coaches, teaching classes from beginning to advanced.

Adalyn Rosado

Instructor

Adalyn is one of our tumbling coaches teaching classes from beginning to advanced.

Adalyn has experience in tumbling, being a former tumbler and then moving on to instructor.

Julia Adams

Instructor

Julia teaches our beginning jazz/tap, and assists in other classes.  She is also an advanced ballet student.

Julia started dance at age 4 and has continued ever since.  She has trained primarily in ballet, but she also has experience with jazz, hip hop, tumbling, and contemporary dance.  She loves dance, and is glad to share that love through teaching.
